Set Up a Yes/No Product Question

The configuration defines:

• The trigger product
• The question displayed to the cashier
• What happens when the cashier selects No

Before you begin
Product Questions are configured in the POS365 Admin Center.

For the general configuration, see Product Questions – General Setup.

Create a Yes/No Product Question

1. Open the POS365 Admin Center.
2. Go to Setup.
3. Select Product Questions.
4. Select Create.
5. Select Yes/No.
6. Select Next: Setup.

Configure the question

1. Select the product that should trigger the question.
2. Enter the question that should be displayed to the cashier.
3. Complete and save the Product Question setup.
   
   

How Yes/No works in POS365

1. The cashier scans or adds the configured trigger product.
2. POS365 displays the configured question.
3. The cashier selects Yes or No.
   
   

Example: Confirm an age requirement

Configure the Product Question as follows:

• Trigger product: Bottle of wine
• Type: Yes/No
• Question: Is the customer 18 years or older?
  
  

When the cashier adds the wine:

• Selecting Yes allows the product to remain in the basket.
• Selecting No removes the product from the basket.
