Why is a paid sales quote not automatically converted into a sales invoice in Business Central?
A sales quote has been paid through POS365, but it remains a sales quote in Business Central and has not been posted as a sale.
Answer
POS365 records the payment but does not automatically convert and post the sales quote as a sales invoice. The sales quote must therefore be processed in Business Central according to the company’s preferred workflow.
For sales orders, automatic processing can be configured separately. When the remaining payment is completed in POS365, the sales order can be marked as completed. After synchronization, the Order Completed [PON] field is selected in Business Central.
A Business Central job queue can use this field to identify and automatically process completed sales orders. The required job queue must be configured in Business Central.
