Where can I view the dimensions on a sales invoice header?

You want to check the dimension codes and values assigned to an open sales invoice.

Note: This FAQ uses the POS365 Manager role and English page names. If your screen looks different, follow Access the POS365 UI (user interface) Manager role in Business Central. Changing the language to English is optional, but makes it easier to follow this FAQ.

Answer:

  1. On the Business Central home page (POS365 UI), find POS365 Navigation. Under Transactions, select Sales Invoices.
  2. Open the relevant invoice.
  3. In the action bar above the invoice sections, select Invoice → Dimensions.
  4. In Edit Dimension Set Entries, review Dimension Code, Dimension Value Code, and Dimension Value Name.

Select Close when you have finished checking. You do not need to change any values or post the invoice.
