Where can I find a customer’s VAT business posting group?

You want to check the VAT business posting group assigned to a customer.

Note: This FAQ uses the POS365 Manager role and English page names. If your screen looks different, follow Access the POS365 UI (user interface) Manager role in Business Central. Changing the language to English is optional, but makes it easier to follow this FAQ.

Answer:

  1. On the Business Central home page (POS365 UI), find POS365 Navigation. Under Customers, select Customers.
  2. Open the relevant customer and expand Invoicing.
  3. Select Show more in the upper-right corner of that section if needed.
  4. Under Posting Details, find VAT Bus. Posting Group, between Gen. Bus. Posting Group and Customer Posting Group.
