Where can I check an item’s unit price and whether it includes VAT?

You want to review the price and VAT-inclusion setting on an item card.

Note: This FAQ uses the POS365 Manager role and English page names. If your screen looks different, follow Access the POS365 UI (user interface) Manager role in Business Central. Changing the language to English is optional, but makes it easier to follow this FAQ.

Answer:

  1. On the Business Central home page (POS365 UI), find POS365 Navigation. Under Products, select Items.
  2. Open the relevant item and scroll down to Prices & Sales.
  3. Expand the section and select Show more in its upper-right corner.
  4. On the left-hand side, check Unit Price, Unit Price Excl. VAT, and Price Includes VAT.

These are the settings on the item card. This check does not, by itself, establish which price was used for a particular POS365 sale.
