What should I do if my card terminal cannot connect after I did not allow POS365 through Windows Defender Firewall?
Your card terminal cannot communicate with POS365 after you did not select Allow when prompted by Windows Defender Firewall.
Answer
Remove the firewall rule that blocks POS365 from communicating with the terminal.
- On the POS computer, search for and open Windows Defender Firewall
- Select Advanced Security.
- Select Inbound Rules.
- Find the blocking rule for POS365, marked with a red symbol.
- Delete the rule that blocks POS365’s connection to the terminal.
When Windows Defender Firewall prompts you to allow POS365 again, select Allow.
