# How do POS365 Job Queues work in Business Central?

## POS365 uses Job Queues in Business Central to automatically handle posting and payment application in the background.

This means that sales and payments created through POS365 can be processed automatically without requiring you to manually post each transaction in Business Central.

Which Job Queues does POS365 use?

POS365 uses four Job Queues:

| Job Queue | What it does | Default schedule |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **PON Auto Post POS365 Invoice** | Posts sales invoices from POS365 | Every 5 minutes |
| **PON Auto Post POS365 Cr. Memo** | Posts credit memos from POS365 | Every 5 minutes |
| **PON Auto Post POS365 Gen. Jnl.** | Posts payment journal entries from POS365 | Daily at 01:00 |
| **PON Auto Apply POS365 Payments** | Applies payments to the related invoices or credit memos | Daily at 01:00 |

The Job Queues are created automatically when the POS365 Business Central app is installed.

 How does the process work?

For a normal POS365 sale, the Job Queues handle two separate flows:

**Sale → Invoice/Credit Memo → Posting**

**Payment → General Journal → Posting → Payment application**

Each Job Queue looks for specific information before processing a record. If the required information is missing, the record is simply not selected for processing.

> **Good to know:** A Job Queue can run successfully without processing any records. This normally means that the Job Queue itself is working, but there were no records matching its requirements at the time it ran.
