# How do I withdraw cash from the cash register?

## Cash needs to be removed from the register and recorded correctly in POS365.

If the cash-withdrawal function has been enabled:

1. Select the **Withdraw Cash** category.
2. Select the **Withdraw Cash** product.
3. Select **Pay**.
4. Enter the amount being withdrawn.
5. Select the cash payment method.

POS365 then records the cash withdrawal.
