# How do I send a receipt by email?

## Send the receipt electronically after completing a sale.

This option is available when automatic receipt printing is disabled.

1. Complete the sale.
2. Select **Email receipt** on the transaction confirmation screen.
3. Enter the customer’s email address.
4. Click **OK**.
5. Close the confirmation message after the receipt has been sent.
