# Find posted Business Central (BC) invoice information in POS365

## This guide explains how to find posted Business Central invoice lines and comments in POS365.

**Step 1: Open invoice history**

1. Go to 'More options'.
2. Click 'Invoice history'.

**Step 2: Search for invoice lines**

1. Set 'Period' to cover the posting dates you want to search.
2. Fill in the relevant search filters: 'Customer', 'Item description', 'Comment contains' or 'Invoice / Item No'.
3. Click 'Fetch Invoice Lines'.

**Step 3: Review the results**

1. Review the matching invoice lines and comments.
2. Use 'Smart search' to filter the retrieved results.

**Note:** 'Smart search' only filters results that have already been retrieved. To search a different period or change the Business Central search criteria, update the search filters and click 'Fetch Invoice Lines' again.

**Note:** Invoice history is read-only. You cannot edit invoices or process invoice-based returns from this view.
