# Can I process a credit sale while POS365 is offline?

## A customer wants to purchase on credit while POS365 does not have an internet connection.

The **Credit Sale** payment service can work both online and offline. However, it cannot read live Business Central restrictions—such as the customer’s credit limit—while processing the payment.

The **Credit Online** service can check Business Central restrictions, but it requires an internet connection.

**Business Central controlled:** Customer credit limits and related restrictions are maintained in Business Central. They can only be checked by POS365 when using an online payment flow.
