How do I make POS365 check the customer's credit limit? The payment type must use the CreditOnline - Credit Check payment service.
In the Admin Center:
- Go to Setup → Payment types.
- Open the payment type used for account payments.
- Set Payment service to CreditOnline - Credit Check.
- Enable On POS.
- Save the payment type and make sure it is assigned to the relevant cash register.
Credit Online requires an online connection because POS365 checks the customer's Business Central limitations when the payment is made.
What is the difference between Credit Sale and Credit Online? Both can be used for credit sales, but there is an important difference:
Credit Sale works both online and offline, but it cannot read customer limitations such as the credit limit from Business Central.
Credit Online requires an online connection and can read Business Central limitations such as the customer's credit limit.
If the customer's Business Central credit limit should be checked when using Account as payment, use Credit Online.
