Track items by serial numbers and lot numbers

It is now possible to track items by their serial numbers and lot numbers from Business Central directly in POS365.

Gift cards & vouchers

It is now possible to create and use gift cards and vouchers directly in POS365. Furthermore, you can load old gift cards and vouchers in the Admin Center for later use.

It is now possible to create in & out payment types in POS365 for employees to register expenses directly from the cash register to the correct account number in Business Central

Assign locations to employees in Business Central

It is now possible to assign location(s) for 'salespeople/purchasers' in Business Central. This function ensures that employees on the POS will only appear on the login screen of the locations they have been assigned to. If no location has been selected, the employee will be present on all locations.

Pop-up for entering credit card payment references

It is now possible to force employees to set a payment reference on payment types, which will be sent to Business Central.

Configuration of POS365 Settings moved to the Admin Center

Manage more POS365 settings directly in the Admin Center for quicker rollouts and easier control. The following settings have been moved to the Admin Center: 

  • Cash register:

    • Screen customer display

    • Unit of measurement

    • Print receipt to A4

    • Show SKU

    • Auto print

    • Automatic sign out

Company creation process in the Admin Center

The process of creating a new company in the Admin Center has been simplified. To create a new company now, you will need to follow this guide.

Barcode scanning speed

The barcode scanning speed has been increased, ensuring that items can be added to the basket rapidly. Furthermore, if a reading error happens, a pop-up error message will now appear, ensuring that no mistakes happen in the scanning process. 

Send user invitations by email from Admin Center

The invitation flow from the Admin Center remains the same, but the person, who has been invited, no longer needs to insert the PIN code from their email, as this happens automatically. Now, the person who has been invited, only needs to click 'Accept invitation' on the email they receive, and they will automatically be signed in to the Admin Center. To invite a user to the Admin Center, please follow this guide.

POS365 setup for US Business Central

It is no longer needed to set up VAT/TAX on US Business Central setup for the POS365 extension. This ensures a faster, more efficient setup for new companies. The full flow of setting up the Business Central app can now be made by following this guide.

Customize layouts with screen designer settings

The screen designer has been optimized to be more user friendly and more customizable, ensuring that you can edit as many parts of the layout of your POS as possible. To unlock the full potential of the new screen designer , please check this guide.

Login screen for the Admin Center

The layout of the login screen on the Admin Center has been reworked to fit the POS365 style. Furthermore, you will now automatically be redirected to the PIN code sign in page, once your email has been entered. This ensures an intuitive sign in flow.

Sign used for paid amounts on receipts (+,-)

The sign used for paid amounts on receipts has been changed from minus to plus on the POS365 interface as this ensures correct perception and understanding for the user of the POS. The sign used in the backend will remain the same as this is used for accounting purposes.
