Here is a possible error checklist for a cash drawer.

Here is a possible error checklist for a cash drawer.

  • Check if the lock is shut.
    • If it is, open it with the cash drawer key.
  • Check if the cables are connected to and from the printer.
    • The Cash drawer functions via a cable from the printer to the cash drawer; please ensure that this cable is connected correctly in both the printer and the cash drawer.
  • Check if the cash drawer is selected in POS365.
    • In POS365, navigate to settings - Hardware, add a receipt printer, and select yes when prompted for a cash drawer (Select printer for receipts).
