This guide explains how to prepare a Nets terminal for use with Nets Cloud in POS365. Follow the steps to ensure the terminal is correctly configured.
Step 1:
Make sure the terminal is prepared for Nets Cloud before configuring anything on the device. This ensures the setup will work correctly.
1) Contact Nets to confirm the terminal is set up for 'Nets Cloud'
2) Wait for confirmation before continuing the setup
Note:
This step must be completed beforehand. You can contact Nets at 'technical-solution-support@nexigroup.com'.
Step 2:
Configure the terminal directly to enable communication with POS365. Follow the full menu setup and ensure all values are correct.
1) Swipe 'Merchantcard'
2) Press '6' to open 'Parameter'
3) Press '1' to open 'Change'
4) Press '2' to open 'Communication'
5) Set 'Comm. Type' to 'Ethernet' or 'GPRS'
6) Press the yellow key to return
7) Press '3' to open 'ECR'
Step 3:
Set up the ECR parameters to connect the terminal to POS365.
1) Set 'Comm. type' to 'Ethernet' or 'GPRS'
2) Set 'ECR/TLS' to 'Yes'
3) Set 'ECR IP address' to '3.33.230.243'
4) Set 'ECR IP Port' to '6001'
Note:
If needed, reset host settings:
• Host IP address: '91.102.24.142' (navigate via 'MENU-8-6-1-2')
• Host IP Port: '9680' (Denmark)
